During the month of April 2017, Vinipack explored PET with barriers, launching sheets and packaging

Materials with a barrier are materials that prolong the shelf life of food products. As a result of the structure of the sheet, the gases that penetrate a package can be controlled.

The food industry often requires barriers against the following gases: oxygen, steam, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, smells and flavors.

In order to fulfill these needs, Vinipack offers PET material within its product portfolio, with different types of barriers depending on the needs of the food product that is being packaged.
