Heat shrink wrap

Heat shrink film also known as retractable film is plastic film that is made using a combination of polyethylene resins that shrink if they are subjected to a source of heat, therefore their size decreases and they adjust to a load, allowing them to be handled as a single item. Films used in secondary packaging may or may not contain printing. This packaging is designed to group homogenous units that can be handled as a unit called a load. The load is wrapped in HEAT-SHRINK FILM or THERMO-RETRACTABLE FILM, which is subjected to a constant source of heat for a specific amount of time. The film shrinks and therefore decreases in size, meaning that it adjusts to the load to form a compact unit that can easily be handled. This concept is ideal for sustainability in the recycling process and the circular economy.
