Once again Plastilene was forward highlighted as a sustainable supplier

For the second consecutive year, in the Sustainable Sourcing program, Coca-Cola FEMSA highlighted Plastilene for its compliance with good practices within its supply chain.

In addition, we shared a nomination in the Social and Environmental Practices category with Cristaleria Peldar S.A and Tetra Pak.

“We have been awarded as a strategic supplier for our environmental and social practices during 2022. A great recognition among the totality of suppliers,” brought up Marlon Ordoñez, Plastilene’s commercial manager.

Some of the evaluation criteria were: ensuring labor rights, environment, community connection, ethics and values.

Our commitment to sustainable relationships

Just like our client Coca-Cola, which extends its environmental commitment to its suppliers to ensure a responsible and sustainable supply chain; from 2021, we are committed to work hard with our suppliers to measure the impacts of their operations and optimize the process of engaging new suppliers under sustainability criteria.
