Easy-open

Film that is co-extruded or assembled using two or three layers, provided in the form of a reel, the characteristics of its size and functions should be consulted beforehand. The easy-open format can only be supplied under one of two conditions; (1) special resin for seals to guarantee a vacuum with low adhesive capacity and (2) a seal around the perimeter of the thermoforming equipment that guarantees the inclusion of a string seal and a corner for the product to be opened manually. It may contain a barrier against oxygen only; the lid - which is located on the upper part of the packaging - should be used in conjunction with another film known as the base - or the lower film of the packaging: the barrier characteristics of both films should be similar. Printing can be provided on the inside of the external layer. The caliber of the film ranges between 60 and 90 microns.
