Technofilms trains its employees on sustainability

The enforcement of the Guatemalan governmental agreement 164-2021 in August, 2024, was a turning point for Technofilms. With this new legislation becoming a reality, the company saw the urgent need to train their employees to adapt to these changes and accept more sustainable practices.

It went far above a regular international training

Technofilms in an innovative turn, brought the Fundación Crecer and its movement Haciendo Eco, as part of an external partnership. With their environmental and eco-activism leadership and experience in Guatemala, this organization was an ideal partner for Technofilms in their journey towards sustainability.

These inaugural sessions mark the beginning of a continuous training that will be complemented with information sent out via Whatsapp. This is an effort to achieve the ECO Reto 2, a 21 day challenge that seeks to implement the necessary habits for proper waste classification.

For Technofilms, this initiative is not only to meet legislative requirements, but to create a corporate culture that relies on environmental responsibility and a commitment to its community.
